What concerned us the most was the driveway which was steep. Plus, parking at the bottom of the driveway made loading and unloading difficult. "Book it! Our family wanted to visit St. Augustine and go to the beach. After much research we stayed at the Hyatt. Although about 2 short blocks from the beach, the walks were easy to traverse. The hotel offered golf cart transportation to the beach as well. Tour bus for St Augustine will pick you up at the hotel. Negatives: Valet parking $25 per day plus we tipped each time we left and returned. Balcony with the ocean view is a long walk from the elevator. I probably would not pay for the Ocean view again. Not many stores within walking distance. I suggest a rental car to traverse about. It is an easy area to drive in. Not crowded at all. Pros: Daily maid service, breakfast provided in the hotel, kind staff, grocery store-Publix- across the street. The area is not commercialized and is free from smoking and vaping. "
