Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

The soft furnishings and linens, and supplies provided were great. The responsiveness of the management team excellent when we faced issues. When renting this though, beware that this is an old building where it really does need a major paint job inside to tidy it up and match the standard of furnishings provided. It's a very small bathroom for 3 bedrooms to share.

Convenient and safe neighborhood
This location is walkable to the heart of things. Near King St and Just 25 min walk or about a mile and a half to everything. Coffee shop 3 blocks away. Old historic house so don’t expect new :)

Good time in Charleston
House with 2 car parking spaces is in good location, walking distance to center. Very clean. Only disadvantage is teeny-tiny bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 3-4 people. The 3 of us did enjoy the stay very much.

Historic house but clean and comfortable
While this house is clearly very old it was well kept and comfortable. Do not expect new and shiny in this area of town but the charm and history is unparalleled. We really enjoyed the stay.

Great weekend stay!
I stayed here for a girls weekend with two old friends. The booking, check-in, and check-out processes were all very clear and friendly. The location is great - a nice walk from the big sights around South of Broad, the French Quarter, etc. Also, the neighborhood itself has good restaurant options in a very close walk - we enjoyed Fuel Cantina, and were sorry to miss Chasing Sage (closed Sundays). The unit was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable with easy parking. Would return!

Great stay!
Overall, it was an enjoyable and convenient property. It was as advertised with no (negative) surprises. The only things I’d suggest are: a few more chairs in main living area (only one couch to sit on), a small kitchen table would be great for meals and playing games, trash cans in all rooms. Other than those small additions, it’s a great place for a group or family to stay.

Quick stay in Charleston
We stayed for two nights on the second floor of the property. I thought the beds were very comfortable and the lighting in the house was great. The extra amenities such as fans, noise machines and toiletries were nice. 10 minute walk to King Street. It was our first time to Charleston and we learned that the houses are very old with lots of character and original charm.

We stayed for a girls weekend and it was a perfect fit. Very clean, beds were comfortable, and the location was walk away from everything we wanted to do! Host was very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Beds were very comfortable and clean. The home is in need of some repairs and we brought the outside chairs in to have more comfortable seating. It was a good location, a short drive to attractions in all directions. We were supposed to have parking for two vehicles but when we arrived we had to squeeze in to the last available spot. Noticed people parking there and then walking off. All in all because the beds and linens were nice, we were happy with our stay.
