"The inn was beautiful, quaint, and extremely quiet. I actually liked the minimal contact, the morning breakfast delivery, and the ability to text the innkeeper. They explained everything very well and were always quick to respond. The inn was immaculately kept and the grounds were slightly rustic and charming. "The staff was very helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions to local food and drinks. The location was brilliant, right next to downtown Carmel and 8min walk to beach. They also serve breakfast to your door around 8 am daily, which is delicious and has balanced ingredients. My only complaint is the soundproofing was poor, you can easily hear the voice in the next room. Fortunately everyone was mostly quiet during my stay."

We stayed in the garden room and it was nice, although bathroom is outdated and bed was not very comfortable.
