"This hotel was great. The lobby is magnificent, and it makes every entry into the hotel a treat. My room, one of the smaller ones, wasn't magnificent, but it was lovely and very comfortable. Not large but big enough with a nice work area. The golden backsplash in the bathroom was very elegant -- I want it for my home. I had room service a couple of times and the food was fantastic. "This is a new addition to the w family and it shows. Staff are eager to please and attentive. The hotel is beautifully renovated and immaculate. It also has all the modern amenities needed and staff are willing to go above and beyond. They are knowledgable and offer excellent advice on dining options and excursions. But….the hotel is not used to being at capacity. As the hotel got busier small flaws appeared such as running out of basic items at breakfast and a slow unresponsive wait staff....
