"The most perfect spot in Vancouver, with so much history. The restaurant and bar is lovely, as are the staff there and at the front desk. The rooms could be furnished and decorated more in line with the history of the property (they’re a bit Best Western furniture sale), but all in all, very comfortable and we’ll definitely stay again. "We were attending a celebration of life at the church next door so the location was very convenient. The room was a little outdated, but there is obviously work going on to update the hotel. The bedding and towels were wonderful and despite being next to a hospital it was very quiet. The staff were all efficient and friendly and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again."

"Everything was great but I never saw a sign for "Divya Sutra", it looked like maybe the hotel was once named the "Riviera". Ended up walking a few blocks further looking for it before I turned around and checked in. Very warm and friendly staff and big suites!"

"I suspect that what is now a hotel was once an apartment complex, given the small kitchenette - something I had not expected. It is old and does not have a modern feel. But it's very affordable and let's not forget that the parking is free. Vancouver is a very expensive city; it's nice to know that instead of eating out every night, you can walk over to Safeway and buy groceries. The staff are wonderful. Conveniently located close to Stanley Park and Canada Place. Any future trips to Vancouver...
