Who wants a chain hotel experience when this is the same price?? Everything was just perfect. All the details were appreciated! Highly recommend. Do need to be able to maneuver steps to the loft. I'm one week out from knee replacement and managed it."

"The Black Palace was just that! Decor was very enchanting and interesting. The room was extremely clean and fresh. The towels and sheets smelled amazing. The interaction with the host was informative and timely. Adam is a very conscientious host. The only downside of the stay was the noise level because of the bar next door and people on the street. We were aware of that because of other reviews and it did not dampen our enjoyment of our stay."

I was concerned about the train tracks thinking I might get awoken by a train at night but the train never ran. "We stayed four nights and are very happy with our stay! The only thing was that we didn't get room service every day, at least to get clean towels and take the dirty ones. With six people in one room and one hook to hang towels on just didn't work out well. We didn't have a place to hang the towels so they can dry to be reused. Breakfast every day was different egg/meat combination and was hot and delicious. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean when we arrived. The staff was quick to resolve any issues and were very friendly. We will definitely stay there again!"
