Lots of attention and cleaning needed. Good location,
This property needs LOTS of work. Cabinets was completely broke off, blinds was almost non existent so you had little privacy. The hot water tank was upstairs and in the bottom level the entire wall was soaking wet where it had been leaking for sometime which concerned me about mold. The upstairs bathroom only has a jetted tub(that needs a good cleaning)- no shower option so it was a huge inconvenience that a basically 3 BR cabin had to share 1 shower. The porches are super unlevel and honestly we was concerned about safety with the potential for them falling or anything. The place needs a SUPER good cleaning as it’s obvious the bare minimum has been done for years! The door wouldn’t stay closed as it was broke without keeping the deadbolt latched. Uncomfortable beds. There was a tall kitchen table and the chairs are short so when you try to sit at the table it hits at chin level on an adult. Check in process was very smooth and location is a plus. Other than that I would stay clear of here.

Disgusting! Stay somewhere else
This cabin was extremely disgusting and awful. I didn’t read the reviews and I wish I had. Bugs everywhere. Hundreds of ladybugs all over, spiders, ants, cockroaches. There were dirty sheets on the bed but no comforters or blankets. The upstairs bathtub “jacuzzi” doesn’t work and leaks, there are two bathrooms but both are connected to bathrooms and only 1 shower total. Moldy water collecting in a stinky pot under the sink. Dirty dishes in the sink, broken coffee maker, broken drawer in the kitchen. Biggest problem was a broken wooden stair going down towards the basement. It is extremely dangerous for anyone, but especially children and elderly. The property managers called, but when I told them about our stay they did nothing and offered 10% of our next stay, would not take the risk of staying with them again. Please heed my warning and stay elsewhere

Worst cabin experience ever!
Was told after checking in the hot tub did not work and will not for my stay. The jacuzzi tub on the second floor could not be used as it leaked water and flooded the main floor bathroom. Maintenance men said they couldn't fix the problem both times I called for them. There was a mouse nest in the ceiling and mouse droppings in the floor below where it was. And black mold on the upstairs vents for the heating unit. The property was poorly cleaned and I found trash in several rooms as well as the dishes being very dirty. Only offered to refund 40 dollars and guest services was very rude every time I called. I would not recommend renting from Venture Resorts at all!

WHAT!!!????
When we arrived at our 1st cabin, grass had not been cut, couldnt get into cabin thru upstairs so i took chance on going downstairs where door was unlocked, jacuzzi tub leaked when filling, blinds were broken, cobwebs every where, one of the parts of the stairs were broken, hit tub was dirty and the guard for intake was broken and one of my kids got cut, upstairs bed felt like you were going to slide off and very uncomfortable, poison ivy on walk way, had to wait till 11am the next day for someone to come fix the door so we could lock it and that person stated that he had put work orders in for that cabin due tonissues and he didnt know why they rented it out. .... wr decided to stay another night in another cabin after the 11th, got to 2nd cabin, welllllll tv didnt work, jacuzzi tub the access panel broken and falling off, shower door falling off, sharp staples exposed in stair case, game didnt work, and sewage smell, they came out after 4 hours of us waiting and come to find out the septic tank was full, they upgraded us to a different cabin that was 30 mins away, we finally arrived at that cabin at 930pm and had to be gone by 11am, the last cabin was awesome, clean cozy just wish they would have let us stay longer since we paid them all that money. They gave us 200$ back WOW.... and the perferd customer discount of 10% on next stay ( which u r a perffered customer if u just stay with them 1 night)...... the pictures on their website are misleading. So do your home work before hand. If i knew we were going to go thru this i would have just went with the more expensive and done less time up there or would have gotten 2 hotel rooms.

Didn't meet expectations.
Disappointing stay at this property. Arrived to dirty kitchen and dishes, outside of property was rundown & messy, & internet service was out. On 1st call about intnet we were told they were sending someone out. No one showed and next day we placed a second call. Had to get my cellular service to activate hot spot to get service. Never did hear back on second call about internet. There appeared to be a water leak on top floor. Television on top floor didn't work and dishwasher ran but did a poor job cleaning Diaappointing experience. Poor job on listing.
