Comfy Cabin
Overall, the property was good for what we needed. The backyard was very large and had a nice fire pit. Bring your own wood because it’s not provided. The bonus is the yard is fenced in so that our dogs could run free. There are a few issues with the inside of the property such as there were no hangers, beach towels, or extra blankets for the pullout couch. It’s a dog friendly property which was nice but it didn’t seem like they washed the top comforters because there was quite a bit of dog hair on them from the previous renter’s pet(s). Also, there no screens on any of the windows, so you can’t open them for some fresh air. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it took a while to heat up and not all the jets worked. Having a washer and a dryer in the cabin was very convenient. Probably the best feature is the location. You had a great view of the mountains, but you were still close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Not impressed
Once we got to the cabin, it looked nice and clean but when I unpacked my bags and got settled in I realized that the floor had not been swept good. There was short black dog hair everywhere. Then we realized we didn’t have any blankets for 2 of our beds. I reached out to the host via VRBO with no response. I reached out to the 800# provided. The man I spoke to said he would create me a ticket and someone would contact me that night. No one contacted me so my family and friends had to go to sleep with no blanket the first night. Still no contact on the second day so I sent a very ugly text to a 800# I found. They apologized and said they would send my message to the team. When I got to my cabin the second night, we had blankets inside the door. We just made the best of it the rest of the week.

Gatlinburg Spring Break
Lovely cabin with an excellent location. So close to downtown, Just a quick drive. Loved how quiet, loved the deck, loved the backyard. Couch was comfy, kitchen was well stocked and the table nook was great for our family of five. A few things I’d update are new queen mattresses, new comforters or quilts on the queen beds, one bunk was missing a blanket, only had a sheet. No big deal for us as my kids bring blankets everywhere. The headboard in the downstairs bedroom does not lend itself to laying against and watching tv. If you bring kids, one thing to note is the loft is completely open to the downstairs and the upstairs bedroom is not private either. It has wooden shutters that open to the downstairs and you can hear everything below and see light. It would make sense to put kids in the downstairs room as it’s the only bedroom that’s truly private/blocked to the rest of the house. My husband and I couldn’t sit and watch tv in the living room once kids went to bed as they could hear everything. Regardless, we loved our stay and the location and quiet space with very few if any neighbors in view was perfect. Still 5 stars for us. Communication with Vacasa was seamless and they helped with all our needs very quickly. Kids loved hot tub. Stove was great and worked well. All appliances new and clean. Cabin was very clean.

Loved the yard for the dog
Yard, layout of the house, and proximity to Gatlinburg was great. Hot tub cover doesn’t secure, so it had blown open and hot tub was full of leaves and dirt when we got there. Was cleaned the next day, but we lost using it for 2 of our 3 nights there. Upstairs mattress really needs replaced - it sags in the middle and is not comfortable. There weren’t any sheets on the upstairs bed, the dishwasher was full of dishes, and the house could have been a bit cleaner. Overall a great stay and a nice place. Would stay again.

Great location and awesome yard
My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Very clean home! Pet friendly but you would never have know, no hair, no accident smell, etc. and they also had left a little doggy bone container with treats in it. My dogs loved hanging in the yard and lying on the porch. We would definitely stay there again

Moonshine is great in the moonlight
This was our first time in Tennessee. We even got to see a bear or two! Loved all the attractions, especially Margaritaville and the moonshine place on the island. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and we all loved our relaxful stay, especially the hot tub and firepit. Host was great! Would definitely stay here again. Home was clean and accommodating and peaceful. Have to go to Chocolate Monkey, they have everything you could ever dream of. They are dog friendly and even have ice cream! Try the Tennessee Whisky one, so delicious!

Wonderful stay with family & dogs
This cabin is located so close to everything in Gatlinburg but is also hidden up the mountain-side so you get the best of both worlds. The drive up and finding it was easy. We loved all the charming decor. The cabin was perfect for our family & dogs. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils and a coffee maker, the bedrooms had extra blankets and there was even a hair dryer & travel soaps & shampoos. Fenced-in backyard is perfect for dogs. Check-in & check-out was super easy. Would definitely stay here again.
