"We were confused and could not follow the instructions on how to check in. Really needed to have a car because you check in at one place and then are sent to where you are actually staying. Never did figure it out to check in. Very difficult if you have to schlep your bags by yourself. "

"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

"Property is very clean with extremely good location-inside walls with excellent dining and some shopping. Host is helpful. Be aware, this is a mountain-too town so parking is a couple blocks away with steep walking. Call host before arrival for directions to park. It was difficult for me or Expedia to contact host, but he was cooperative and helpful when we arrived. Very nice, large room and bath. Quiet considering it is on main street. I recommend the facility and location highly. "

Clean, Friendly, I got to play the piano in the main room, terrific book collection, and a superior variety of food for the breakfast --eggs, croissants, meats, juice, etc. Great views of the countryside and you are about 5 minutes from the closest town. Not much there in the way of restaurants, but if you drive closer to Siena (10 minutes away) you will find some good places to eat. Highly recommend if you are looking for a classic Toscano experience!"

The owner Mario is very knowledgeable of the area and is very helpful and overall great guy. He also provides eco tours that are really a remarkable experience."

"The house is a beautiful old Italian house with high ceilings with wooden beams and tiled floors. Everything in the house worked pedfectly- wifi, hot water, screens on the windows, kitchen and bath. The house is set in the midst of the Tuscan hills with hikes starting right from the front door. The grounds in the nature preserve are lovely with local plantings.
