"The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And...

"We loved our stay here! The front desk staff especially Jessica and Aymen were wonderful! Very helpful throughout our 12 day stay. The breakfast buffet is superb and made it so convenient to start your day just by going downstairs. It is included with your room rate. The only issue is you must have a car to stay here as it is about 15 minutes from central Perugia and there is really no nearby public transportation. Overall however a wonderful hotel!"

"I booked and arrived at the property very late after a long drive from Rome, ~8pm. Michaela (hope I spelt correctly!) was extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating as I arrived tired and dishevelled! Parking is provided. Breakfast is provided. Aircon included. Rooms were clean, spacious and soundproofed (in the hall I could hear Italians debating loudly - in the room I heard nothing. Room was large. Bed was large. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
