"At 3.5km south of Perugia, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort and helpful staff. There is a frequent affordable local bus to and from the city until 20.30. Self driving to the city and parking can be hard work. There is only one restaurant (Pizza) and one cafe/bar within walking distance of the hotel, with both providing good service and value. If neither suit, then you have to travel."

"The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
