"Everything was great. We had only two issues. Apartment is located near lagoon where is nearly impossible to swimm. Water is full of sea grass and there is shallow water. Better to walk through the road to opposite side and swimm there or you can use nice pool next to appartment. Second problem there were plenty of little ants called pharaohs. But it is a common problem in the island. Thanks the owner for nice stay."

"The property is absolutely fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice. If you want a quiet, calm relaxing vacation, this is the spot. Sitting on the deck early in the morning or late into the night listening to the waves rolling in is so calming and relaxing. My wife did mediation every morning on the water's edge, and said it was one of the best experiences. The unit was spotless when we arrived and offers everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. It is very well equipped; we didn't want for anything. The direct access to the beach and water is amazing and the swimming pool also has its benefits. It is conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants, all within walking distance. I highly recommend visiting Mezza Luna (Italian Restaurant) next door to the complex, it is great for lunch, dinner or afternoon cocktails. If you want a romantic night out, check out La Cigale (French Restaurant) is just a 5-minute walk away, it offers great food and a table along the water's edge where you can sit and watch the sunset. Marie, the host is extremely friendly and accommodating, she is very welcoming and has lots of helpful ideas to help make the most of your vacation. Thank you, Marie, for everything and we will see you next year!! If you really want to top of the vacation, we wrapped ours up with couples' sunset message on the beach. I really can't say enough about this unit, the only regret you will have is not booking it."

"This villa is the perfect home base for exploring St Martin - very clean, modern, and well-equipped. It's even better than the pictures! The view is unbelievably beautiful, with huge sliding screen doors that open directly onto the beach. We spent every night out on the terrace enjoying the warm air and peaceful privacy. Nettle Bay isn't the best for swimming but we enjoyed walking on the shore, plus the beachfront pool and the dozens of other beaches on the island. Marie gave us a warm welcome and quickly replied to our messages. Highly recommend!"

"My husband & I spent 10 wonderful days at Betty & Pascal's idyllic place. We have been blessed to stay at many Vrbos and this is our favorite. The view is incredible from the kitchen/living/dinning area and especially sitting on the large patio with lush plantings, sculptures and attractive abient lighting. The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful dishes and everything you need to prepare your meals. Within walking distance there is a market, two bakeries and several restaurants. We had a wonderful meal overlooking the sea at Mezza Luna next door to the property. The food and service are excellent. Nettle Bay Rotisserie has delicious quiches, souffles, whole roasted chickens and more. We had a car and visited Orient Beach, Grand Case, Marigot, Friars Bay Beach, Simpson Bay Beach & Phillipsburg. We enjoyed swimming in the large, pristine pool just meters from the patio. Betty & Pascal are warm, delightful people and we look forward to returning in the future!"

"The property was beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating. The interior was immaculate. The bed was super comfortable and it was very quiet. Rachel the property manager was wonderful and very knowledgeable. My husband and I will gladly rebook on our next trip to the island!"

"We had a fantastic week long stay. It was a quiet community of condos and any neighbors we saw were very friendly. As mentioned, the beach sand does have a lot of sea glass, which is in no fault of any owners...it is coming in from the ocean as far as we could tell. Most glass pieces had been worn down smooth, but there were newer sharp pieces as well, which is unfortunate. Keep that in mind if you have children coming on vacation with you. I actually loved walking the beach and sand areas each morning and collecting sea glass to take home to friends! The water/beach area is not really ideal for swimming, but there were amazing swimming beaches near by to go and explore!! You can certainly swim on the beach at the condo, it's just not a smooth sand entry like most of us prefer. The rental process was super smooth and we appreciated all the fast communication as well as advice before and during our stay. I do think a car rental is a must staying here. Marie recommended Discount Car Rental, and they were amazing. They picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the end of the week. They even took us to a grocery store on our way in that first night to grab some cocktails since the stores were closing soon. Their office is right next door to the condo. This island really does shine when you rent a car and explore, and this condo is in a perfect location to do so. Thank you for an incredible vacation and sharing your home ~ you are amazing!"
