Milk was spoiled at breakfast both days.Not happy at all that I used my complementary Marriott night only to be assigned to a room that smelled of smoke!!! On a positive note, all staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was a perfect temperature. "

"Typical Holiday Inn Express, which is always clean and modern. Friendly and efficient staff. I LOVED that their toiletries are Dove brand. This is more a personal preference as I normally travel with my own supply, but the first time I've ever seen a hotel use that brand as their standard. Gold star for this. "

"Pretty good place; not new and shows some signs of wear. But the big gripe - the only one and it is trivial - is that the handle on the entry door has to be turned UP to get entry, and nobody told us that. So after trudging and dragging suitcases all the way to the room, and making repeated tries to gain entry, I ended up leaving my Wife in the hall with all our stuff while I went back to the desk to learn to turn it UP. "Check in/out was easy and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great as well. During the time of our stay one of the elevators was out of service and the one that was working felt a bit scary to be on - it moved around a bunch. The room had a door that can access the room adjacent to it which I thought was a bit weird but we made sure the door was locked the entire stay. The room itself was clean and organized, some parts of the wall and door were worn down but still functional....
