“This place was placed perfectly. Just across the street from a very nice peaceful beach access, as well as a large park for children and dogs. There was an exceptional farmers market on Saturday that had an immense variety of local product and food trucks. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. My family and I stayed (Grandma 72 years old, aunts and cousins from 6years old to 37, and my mother 52 years old.) I would stay here again.”

“We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.”

“This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather. ”

“This is a lovely property in a pretty rural area. From the front porch you can watch the sun rise over the mountains. The cabin is comfortable and well-appointed and the hosts are super. I'll stay here again.”

“My husband, mom, and 2 year old daughter enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for my daughter to play inside and out. “This was our first time staying in a place that provided most of what we needed. You can tell that Emily thought about everything that a family would need when being on vacation. We had plenty of towels/washcloths, there was liquid soap & shampoo in the shower. The kitchen had everything in it ☺️ food was the only thing we had to purchase. The laundry room was well stocked. “The location of this house is wonderful for short or even longer getaway stays, If you need peaceful solitude, but still prefer to be close to attractions, then this is the VRBO for you! The hosts are very responsive and the house was made very welcoming and comfortable. I highly reccommend this for your next weekend or getaway retreat.”

“This was a cozy cottage. Liked the location even though the road construction made the walk to the beach more than 9 mins. The host was very responsive. Also loved the bikes and beach chairs that came with the listing. On the downside the beds were smaller than listed/pictured. The bathroom was also small. Overall this was a great stay💛!”

“Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic.”

“Stayed here for a weekend for a mini honeymoon/wife’s birthday. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We stay at a lot of cabins around shenendoah valley and this one was definitely high on the list of quality. Very clean and cozy. We took a hike, enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, grilled, and relaxed on the upper deck. All the appliances worked and shower was great. Our only issue was the bed was very noisy and sounded like it could use some attention or an upgrade, there was a good...

“If you are looking for peace and quiet in a location near tons of hiking, wineries, breweries, and farms, stay here! Jen was a perfect host and the cottage is gorgeous. All of the appliances are new, the house itself is out of a magazine, and the bed is super comfortable. We loved that there is a washer and dryer, a perfect porch, a fire pit, games, books, tv, everything. We can't wait to visit again!”
