"Convenient location by main train station (Atocha) for metro, Cercanias and long distance trains. 5-10 minute walk to museums and Retiro Park. Great views from rooftop breakfast lounge with outdoor seating and a very good breakfast buffet. Elevators can be slow when busy. Lobby/lounge/restaurant area can get busy as well. "This was a great place to stay in Madrid. Very central to all areas. The breakfast was really nice as well. We ended up briefly mentioning this was our honeymoon when we checked in. On the 4th night, we got a nice bottle of sparkling wine and a card in our room. That was a nice surprise. Ruben and the other staff were very nice. Would definetly stay again."
