"Overall my nephew and I, who each had single rooms - found the hotel to be wonderful. The atmosphere, location, friendly and competent staff, flexibility, lounge area on top floor and more were all quite appreciated. One thing missing in room is a surface to open luggage. The room is small so perhaps a drop-down sturdy shelf might work. One complaint is that it was impossible for either of us to figure out how to get the fan and/or ac to work. The room needed ventilation when shutters were closed at night. I asked staff on the first day and she said since the green light was on it meant it was working. Only the last night when the room was so stuffy did I take a chance and called the front desk.In two seconds it was turned on by the staff downstairs late at night. So this is a heads up to ask about the air. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself."

"It is conveniently located at the center of Madrid but the building is not noticeable.. updated and clean facilities.. lots of cabinets to store stuff which I love. We stayed for 4 nights and my only complaint was the breakfast food, it was the same though for 3 times, hopefully not the same on the fourth day because we have 2 bookings, but overall this hotel is excellent!"
