"We had such a lovely time at Acorn cottage, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Communication with Maria throughout super easy and the cottage is stunning, probably one of the most well thought out, well stocked getaways we've stayed at. We did plenty of local walks straight from the cottage and had a few stop offs on the way home in the local pub. We also visited on a pretty wintery weekend so it made the forest and the pub that little bit more festive. We would definitely return."

"Everything about this property is amazing, location is fantastic and the deer were behind the house when we were unpacking. Very clean and will definitely be going back. The games room also kept us well entertained and sitting in the garden looking at the stars is mind blowing when you have no light pollution."

"Overall stay was great, property is old style but this is not a major issue. Lovely set up downstairs, bedrooms are a good size. Mattress in the smallest bedroom is very squeaky so we didnt use that one as only 4 of us but if there was 6 that would have been an issue. Had an issue with heating not working upstairs but it was sorted, owner sent a key but we had already got it working. Would stay again, location is great 2 pubs in walking distance"

"Our room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean, awesome power shower too. The staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Location is ideal as its only a 5 minute walk to the village centre with all its pubs, restaurants and shops. Plus walks in the National park begin just across the road."

"The location was good for my visit to Lyndhurst. Room was small (nothing like the one in the picture) and overlooked a very busy main road. Ask for a room facing the carpark as the traffic noise went on untillate and started again very early. Breakfast was very good"
