"We were just passing through but very much enjoyed our evening. Our room was spotless and comfortable, nice welcoming touches and thoughtful conveniences. They even provided furniture coverings so we wouldn’t worry should our dogs jump up. Breakfast was provided and it was delicious. Highly recommend."

"I've stayed at several properties through VRBO over the past 20+ years and usually have a few gripes I think to myself. But I was pleasantly surprised with Retreat #5. It was a great lakehouse with everything needed and the AC kept churning in 110 degree heat the whole time. The cell service isn't great, but it was good to tune out for a while. And when the lake is full and beautiful it just makes the whole trip. Great job by Lori and Dave with this property and all those neat little marketing...
