"The room was wonderful. The Thai food down the street was amazing. The desk woman was helpful but could use more patience. Recommend this hotel highly."

"This is a family owned property and they are great people who are genuinely concerned with you and your stay. The rooms are traditional Icelandic. They have a simple but nice breakfast and they will cook to order eggs also. There is a nice Middle Eastern restaurant across the street (ORIENTO) and it is family owned too and food is really good. Next to dinner is Paddy’s Irish Pub that has Guinness on tap. What more do you need? I highly recommend the Keilir. It’s not a 5 star hotel. It’s a quiet, clean, homey stay with friendly staff, good internet, hot water, and a nice bed. ENJOY!!"
