Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Nice and handy, 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Between Higashiyama Honganji and Nishi Honganji. Close to Karasuma Dori and Gojo Dori for buses and subway. Room was very nice and perfect for one or 2 people. Staff were very welcoming."

"It's a beautiful Showa Era Ryokan that's over 70 years old. There is a 200 yen accommodation tax when checking in (this tax applies for all accommodations in Fukuoka), which I happily paid for as I want to support sustainable tourism). You leave your shoes at the main entrance and use slippers throughout the Ryokan. You are provided a toothbrush, yukata, and a prepared tea set that you can pour hot water in immediately to consume. "Service was excellent, rooms and facilities were kept clean. Didn't need to wait to use the facilities. Basic and small but excellent location and friendly helpful staff! First room was noisy as it was on the main road but the window didn't seem to close properly or offer sufficient sound proofing. "

"Good place, clean with neceesary amenities. The wall is thinner so we could hear people in the next room. Having a little difficult with self check in but over all is good. Only 3 minuts walking distance from bus station."

"The proprietor Taro-san was very kind and understanding, as well as his partner. However, the rooms were exceedingly hot, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, the laundry machine (particularly the drier) wasn't working properly, and the overall experience was lacking. The proximity to transit and the nearby convenience store was amazing, and the proprietor was fine, but the facilities left a gap in the experience that couldn't be mended."

Cons: A bit further away from Takachiho Gorge, about 5min drive. No view from hotel. Laundry was a bit expensive, had to buy detergent from the front desk separately from the laundry machine fee. "

"My family and I had a great stay at the Rakuten STAY Naha Tomari Port. The facilities were all very clean as well as the room. My family and I stayed in the six-person room with two double beds and two single bunks on top. The monitor was great for watching shows together before bed after a long day of exploring. I do wish there was a kitchen or a small area with a microwave to heat up food. Overall, this was a great, affordable stay."

"Unit was inexpensive and value for money. The hotel is kept very neat and clean, and the mattresses are very comfortable. Showers and bathrooms are cleaned regularly and kept in good shape. It isn't that central for touring for Osaka, but not too far out of the way. "

"The guest house staff were very friendly and helpful however we arrived on a very wet day and everything closed on the island so getting any dinner was not possible. The hot tub was magnificent and the Japanese breakfast excellent. Our room was very comfortable as well. "

"The beds in this capsule hotel are really big and comfy. The only thing that I would recommend to them is the provision of wet sanitizing tissue to clean the toilet sitting before use. It is a public restroom so sanitation must be a priority. Apart from that I will recommend it to friends and travellers on the go."
