"Our room was modern with a lovely bathroom, large and comfortable bed, and large windows that allowed the fresh air and sunlight come in. The staff are particularly warm, professional, and deliver excellent service. The hotel is on a small cobble stone street, about a 15 minute walk to the main tourist sites, and there are several cafes nearby. The welcome beverage and cold towel service was a very nice touch! The restaurant is a disappointment, which is very unfortunate. It lacks personality....

"Anthemis Hotel is right in the centre of all the happenings. Tourist attractions, eateries, sweet shops. The staff is very attentive with lots good information. The breakfast on the scenic roof terrace also very good. This was our second stay in Anthemis in the hope more to follow."

"Ideally situated in Sultanahmet. Our superior double room wasn’t superior. The drapes over the bed shown in photos were non existent as was the rug shown. We walked barefoot over lifting laminate floor with rough edges. The best part of our stay was the bathroom which had been refurbished and couldn’t be faulted. "Good about this hotel - Location - Excellent as you are close to the main sights and a tram stop is 2 minute walk away. Facilities/Services - Lift available which was very useful, laundry, breakfast and arranging travel. Service - Most of the receptionist staff spoke English and were very helpful with arranging excursions or anything we needed help with. They almost always had someone at reception too. Roof - Nice view of the Blue Mosque and a lot of the city. Price - Better value than the...
