"This was our second time traveling to the area and staying at this house. Great place to stay. House was clean, lots of room for multiple guests. Nice pool and hot tub in the yard. There’s also a nice covered outdoor patio with a TV for hanging out, outside. Owner is very responsive and good to deal with. I will definitely stay again when in the area."

"The property was just down a gravel road that any car could tackle, one of our group had a Prius. In a just perfectly slight remote area of WV. Just far enough off the beaten path. There were some noisy dogs but they weren’t out all the time. The roosters crowing in the distance was definitely better than hearing a V8 engine screaming down the road and we liked that part. "We think Thaddeus Stevens himself would have loved this log house. We certainly did during our 3 day stay. Cozy and well decorated. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Close to downtown and just steps away to a local grocery. The owner, Sarah, is truly exceptional! Helped us in so many ways including making sure our kitchen skillet was returned to us after we accidentally left it in a cupboard. Hats off to Sarah, and a great little getaway!"

"The Cricket House was a great place to stay for our first trip to Gettysburg. The battlefields were close by and many restaurants were within walking distance. We had one small mechanical issue during our stay and it was taken care of quickly. The beds very comfortable and everything was very clean. "Had a fantastic stay at the cozy cow! The large farmhouse was spacious and accurate to the description. Check in was incredibly easy and the space was clean and fresh. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed our view of the grounds and animals. "A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable. We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron"

"The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive.
