"The listing is accurate and communication was great. They even left us a nice welcoming note. What the listing doesn't mention is, the sunrise in the private backyard is excellent. Lots of trees and nature sounds. Very relaxing. This place would be great for a home base to enjoy the finger lakes region."

"We came to Rochester to visit family and stayed in the Nautical Hideaway. We felt at home there immediately! Rental is equipped with everything you need and then some."

"Unit was very clean and appeared newly renovated. Kitchen and appliances were new. Bathroom was new. We did not lack for much and the hosts supplied what we needed during our stay. Keep in mind the bathroom is on the second floor in case anyone visiting you there is unable to negotiate the stairs. Another caution is only one of the beds allows a tall person (6’ 2”) to let their feet hang off the end. We would stay here again."

"Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set."

"Our Seneca 7 team stayed the night before the race. The cottage was perfect for our group to share dinner Saturday night, get hot showers, and enjoy a great night of sleep. "Property was as described except it states there is a spacious deck which there is not. Also wish the fire pit was closer to house. Neither were a big deal as the weather wasn't great so we didn't spend much time outside. Could use a little more lighting outside as its very dark and a little more seating in main living area for guests. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed it very much. Fit 6 adults comfortably. Upstairs is very spacious and lots of beds for sleeping. Overall would stay there...

"Close to RIT for graduation. Hopefully the listing was corrected as there is no hot tub. Owner was very timely in response to my 3 questions. I will mention that the toilet seat needs different screws so that it doesn’t move. The bathtub needs a mat or a non-skid surface. Just to mention, this is a 100 year old house so the floors do creak mostly in the upstairs hallway. The rate charged was a fair price for the house."
