"Very clean and quiet. Also close to anywhere you’d want to go in San Jose either by foot or public transportation. The person who runs the hotel went out of his way to make sure you had all you need and gave excellent suggestions on things to do while I was in San Jose. All and all a very enjoyable experience."

The executive level area was never open, and I got no housekeeping service the first day so I had to go in search of towels after no one answered any of the numbers on the in-room phone (reception, housekeeping, hotline, operator). "I actually thought this room was very accommodating and the room was nice,.clean, and up to date. It was quiet and secure. Even though staff wasn't all that friendly, they monitored who came in and out of the parking lot. Overall I would probably stay again, especially for the affordable price."

Overall a fine stay tucked in the trees/nature.
"Nice overall location along a scenic creek. Not sure why there is a (nominal) resort fee. I did see a pool and heard there was a gym but it’s not really a resort. I had expected more re: breakfast. It’s light pastries and breakfast bars and juice that you can eat in the small lobby or at outdoor tables. I was solo for most of the stay - in town for a conference - and my family joined at the end. It was fine for both purposes. If you want to feel more removed from civilization, try to get first or second floor. The third floor has a slight view of the road and cars. I heard some traffic but nothing too disruptive. Would stay again though not sure it’s worth the price on more expensive rate days. "
