"The charm is that one is going back in time. There are actual keys, keyholders and mailboxes, furniture and bar from the 1960s. More like a movie setting! While outdated everything is in proper condition and very clean. The rooms were large and had comfortable beds even though the color schemes would not stand up to modern tastes — with bright yellow towels and robes. I found it fantastic. "We stayed 2 nights here. It was excellent, in a great location, quietly tucked away behind the main alley through the Medina. We knew that being close to the mosque we would be hearing the call to prayer in the middle of the night, but that was OK as we were expecting it. The rooftop terrace was a pleasant place to sit and for breakfast. The staff were all lovely. "
