"Botanica was a sweet home away on the outside; on the inside a calming and well appointed residence. Our family of 4 found it met our every need. It felt a real escape from the city. From the house though, if we wanted shops and restaurants, we could just walk to the main street.
The heating was cosy, and the log fire created a lovely evening atmosphere. The lighting was beautiful. The crockery and appliances were great.
The claw-footed bath was a treat."
"Gorgeous house and beautifully restored with period features and all the comforts you need. And has best central heating for Daylesford's winter nights! Was a great girls weekend away. Lots of room big table for gatherings comfy sofas everything you need to have a relaxing weekend. Also close to the main steeet however we enjoyed the house so much we didn't venture out that often!"
"A Beautifully decorated hotel, we felt like we were visiting a foreign country. The lobby is stunning with welcoming open fires and fabulous background music (Nina Simone) Our room was enormous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
"Wonderful stay, excellent condition and all the amenities we needed for a family of 4. Close walk into town for a coffee or food. Excellent central location to base ourselves to drive to nearby towns and experiences such as Sovereign Hill for the kids. Would love to stay again. "
"Good location, close to main street.
Amenities good, except for lack of a broom or similar to sweep floor, which got dirty due to wet conditions outside.
Sleeping arrangements were 'cosy' for six adults, but beds were comfortable.
Requests for assistance by Reception were met with courtesy and promptness - thank you.
Check in and check out processes were easy and user friendly.
We had a fun stay. Thanks."

"The Camelia Cabin was small for three people but we managed okay. Both John and Annemarie were very hospitable. Although they are relatively newish running the park, they did a great job looking after their guests."
