The owner was very pleasant and accommodating, he made sure that I was pleased with my room and allowed me to utilize the lobby for work until I was able to check in as I arrived rather early. The 2nd front desk attendant was very friendly and provided quick assistance with getting me into my room and provided details of the amenities and wifi. She was very certain to let me know of her work time in the event that I may need anything. Thank you to this wonderful staff. I will definitely be back when I come to visit again. Oh and my room was very clean, spacious and had all of the essentials that I needed.

We were in Cookeville for just 1 night. This property was great! The room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable! We really appreciated having a free breakfast - eggs, sausage, tator tots, plus waffles, cereals, muffins, coffee, juices.. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The parking can be tight when they are full, but that is part of a busy hotel. The property is clean, which is big on my list. I feel the property is safe even with a questionable area behind the back parking lot. The staff has always been very nice and hospitalble. I just feel comfortable there. No puns intended.

The elevators were broken upon arrival. No one was at the desk for checkout. I waited for 20 minutes and never saw anyone. Minimal selection for vending. Bathroom had rusted parts in the sink and shower. The doors and walls had visible damage that made the hotel look dated and old.

Pretty Darn Good
Quick overnight stay in an oversized room for a solo traveler. I was kindly alerted that the elevator was temporarily out of order but I stuck with the second floor. I only had an overnight bag. Breakfast was barer than I expected. Out of meat protein when I arrived. Opted for a stop at Buccees down the road. On the plus, my room was immaculate. I'd give this place another shot.

Comfort Inn and Suites - Cookeville.
After waiting about 10 minutes at the reception desk, I had to go find someone. We were about 30 minutes early and wasn’t able to check in. The food at breakfast ran out and the person who was in charge of the food, was trying to fix an elevator. Pool wasn’t opened as stated on line. Room was clean.

The bed tilted downhill. I had to sleep at the bottom of the bed to sleep comfortably. The door to the bathroom is water damaged and peeling at the bottom. Theres a tile missing from the wall going into the closet. Very dimly lit. Especially in the bathroom. Reading lights beside the bed were dim as well. I think this must have been a handicap room. The front desk person was wonderful. Just not a very pleasant experience. Worst Comfort Inn weve ever stayed in.

So bad,cut trip short&Mngr said dont use Hotelscom
I booked here for indoor pool, as I'm from Florida, & was told at checkin that it was out of order. My key card didn't work on outside doors. The room fone didn't work, even to call the front desk. The heater thermostat wasn't working, so we had to keep turning it on & off to regulate room temperature, and again, FLORIDEAN. Toiletries were sparse even when I went to front desk to get more. Upon hearing this the manager K. literally did nothing when she heard about the above. And this is after I went up to the front desk with no one there for 15 minutes, and went behind the desk to find a pen and paper to leave them a note. and they had to call my cell because, again. room fone didn’t work. Because of the issues and hotels COMPLETE LACK OF INTEREST IN CORRECTING SITUATION, i asked to check out early, and for a refund, and again, Rude Manager K refused to assist, since I "booked with a third party ". And when I asked her if she was seriously bad nouthing Hotels.com, she said yes. I told her I would report her comments to the site. and she said, "go ahead ". Stay away from this property and its sister property next door. Terrible place and people.

Next time we go to Cookeville, I hope this hotel is still this nice. It's probably bout 3 star but I felt safe and it was clean. It's been updated in the past few years even if it is an older building. The desk staff is wonderful. Stay here.

In an attempt to save money owners do not have hot water for customer use. Water is luke warm at best. Stoppers are out of the tubs so you can't take a bath -
