"Easy check in- they left the key on the counter for us even though we got there by 8pm. Casual approach. The next day we gave her our passport info and it was all very laid back. We had booked twin beds but we’re given a double bed, so that was unfortunate but there was no one there to ask for a change so we just had to share. It was clean and comfortable. "

"It was strange arriving as nobody was there to greet us and all the doors were locked. We thought the hotel was closed because we could not understand why the doors were locked and all the lights were off. Finally after a few minutes we found a doorbell to which I man came scurrying out. He claimed he didnt have our reservation and we had to debate for 20 minutes because of the Italian to English language barrier. Nobodoy there could speak any english at all. So It was difficult. The breakfast...

"I cannot really speak about the hotel itself because I never stayed there, even though I booked and paid for the room. The owner apparently does not inform hotels.com or other websites that there are no more rooms available, sells them multiple times and then blames 'the Internet' when lots of angry customers pile up at the reception. I had to walk to other hotels at night, tired and pushing my luggage to see if any other hotel had availability and would take me with the vague promise that...
