"This was our second year staying here in early spring. The breath taking view is the best! The owners are fantastic. Only one suggestion would be to bring extra towels. They only provided one per person and most women need two (one for hair, one for body). It was so amazing and We plan to keep this one on our list for revisits."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hot Cocoa cabin. Priced very fairly, the cabin is up-to-date and very spacious for two people. It's centrally located between Cherokee, Bryson City, and Dillsboro. It is situated midway up a mountain, but if you have an SUV or truck, you'll have no issue getting up and down. The cabin had a "woodsy" feel to it and was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. Clint was communicative as needed. We especially appreciate that he contacted us promptly when he discovered that we left a pair of glasses behind. He offered to send them to us and refused payment, event for postage."

"Awesome place to stay overall. Gatlinburg has got so crowded over years so having your own private spot is nice. Only complaint is that the cooling system is pretty slow. Also there is only one direct road to Gatlinburg the other route tacks on about an extra hour. And the one route through the mountains is very weather sensitive and can be closed."
