"Easy check in. The front desk was helpful with a late evening arrival.Breakfast was served hot and with nice options. Location to the winery and spa was perfect. The only disheartening experience was room service never came during our stay. When asked for more towels and trash removal we were told we would have to take care of that ourselves. We found housekeeping and traded out towels, tissues and trash. "

House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles!
