First night we were there no AC and it was hot they just left a fan in the room we got our room over a month in advance so there isn't any excuse. They said they would reduce the cost of that night spent the next day sitting in their lobby for 4 hours waiting to get our new room. Late checkout after 6 days could only find out the day of which ended up being 12:30. Our room was on the main street and we found out every siren local police/fire department use at all times of the night. Lots of drug addicts walking around the area as well so not too safe. 4 dollar semi okay coffee but the 2 dollar tea was decent. In general I would say don't stay here if you can avoid it. Cleaning staff was really awesome though they worked very hard until late in the day. No continental breakfast which for the price is outrageous. On the up side they have the best doorman in town so that was a pleasantry not forgotten.

Inefficient tiny rooms, very clean, excellent staff in the heart of Washington heights, making it very convenient for a short stay to visit friends and family plus around the city. In my opinion not a good idea for a long stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, the physical space while seeming relatively new felt dirty. The hotel restaurant was busy when we arrived. We got there late about 10:00 pm but music was playing and tables were full of customers. Getting to our room was a little uncomfortable with very dark hallways. This seems to be a lighting preference for newer hotels its just scary and with the carpeting looked shabby. Motion sensory dimmers might be more effective if you’re going for energy conservation. My sister with who I was traveling had to wipe down surfaces and floor and there was a tremendous amount of dust, which was really disappointing because the flooring is simply poured concrete no carpeting. It gives the impression you won’t be dealing with dust issues which was why I selected this hotel. Minimal design should equal through basis cleaning. I recently stayed at another eco friendly hotel Radio might take some lessons from them. Love the art and the contemporary design. Please just clean the place.

Stuck in NYC unexpectedly this hotel was a last minute reservation at one of the lower end prices but it was very clean & quiet. Only downside is it’s an about a mile walk to the closest subway 181st Street. Still- I was pleased to find it & good stay.

Their is always an issue with the Chromcast on the television each Time I go and I go every month. Always same issue and I always have to get my toom switched. Such an inconvenience. Everytime I get comfortable and try to put on Netfix. I have to move to a different room.
