Hotels.com shows that the perfect trip starts and ends with the right hotel in a new campaign titled “Introductions,” with films highlighting properties that perfectly meet the needs of four very different travelers.
In the first film to debut for the campaign, “The Artist,” a dad tries to relate and connect with his teenage daughter, who is more interested in sketching in her notebook with her headphones in. Enter the Hotels.com app where he books a stay at the just-as-artsy Hotel Palau Fugit in Spain, with a world-class restaurant and spa that they will both love — and where he’ll gain cool dad status.
Similarly, three other campaign films will premiere throughout January and show contrasts between an intriguing present-day scenario and how the hotel provides the perfect solution. Take a dog accustomed to a small city apartment who gets connected to a pet-friendly hotel with a terrace where he can stretch out. Or a couple escaping hard work on a farm who are matched with a city hotel, complete with rooftop views and diligent staff. Or a woman in her third trimester, feeling weighed down in her crowded commute, who gets introduced to a beachside hotel with expansive ocean views and a private pool where she can feel weightless.
Filmed at Hotel Palau Fugit, Torre del Remei, Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa and Nobu Barcelona by creative agency partner Anomaly, the 30-, 15- and 6-second films for the campaign will air on TV, social and digital channels in the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Denmark and Sweden.
