How do you match me with a travel advisor?
You start the process by filling out a short questionnaire to let us know about your travel preferences. Your answers will then automatically curate a shortlist of best-suited advisors for you to choose from.
How will I communicate with my travel advisor?
You’ll start by scheduling a free live video or phone consultation at a time that works for you. If the advisor’s a good fit, you can communicate with them using Expedia’s secure messaging platform. Secure messages will come right to your email or the Expedia app.
How is this different from what I can do online by myself?
Travel advisors can personalize your experience and build out seamless trip itineraries that would be difficult and time-consuming to plan, bundle, and book online by yourself.
How does the advisor service fee work?
An advisor service fee is added to your booking at checkout. This is a percentage of the total trip cost (excluding taxes and fees) that we charge on behalf of the advisor. The advisor service fee is received by the advisor for their travel expertise and time to support you. Our advisors strive to provide you with the best options within your travel budget regardless of the advisor service fee they receive.
How does the deposit work?
After a free consultation, a $100 deposit will be required from you before the advisor begins building the itinerary. This deposit is used as payment towards your trip if booked, or is charged on behalf of the advisor as compensation for services provided to you by the advisor if the trip is not booked.
Will I be working with one travel advisor for the entire process?
One dedicated travel advisor will assist you with your entire trip. They may occasionally have an assistant or associate as a point of contact if they’re not available.
What support do I receive during my trip?
We provide you with several support options to help ensure you have the best travel experience possible. You can self-serve manage your booking, call our customer service, or reach out to your travel advisor who will be assigned to you for the full duration of the trip.

Terms and Conditions
- Service subject to Advisor availability and Expedia’s usual booking terms and conditions apply.
- After a free consultation, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of US$100 (or local currency equivalent) to use the service. Upon booking, you will be required to pay an Advisor service fee.
- Deposit is either deducted from the final cost of the travel booking, or charged on behalf of the Advisor as compensation for services provided by the Advisor to you if travel is not booked.
- Advisor service fee is equal to a percentage of the cost of the travel booking (excluding taxes and fees) charged by Expedia and remitted to the Advisor.

- Expedia reserves the right to restrict or revoke access to the service due to disrespectful or inappropriate behavior on your part; and it may be discontinued or changed without notice.
