“It is exactly as the photos show. I arrived late, was walked to the hut (I guess that’s what you’d call it), and I admit I was skeptical of how well I’d be able to sleep with no walls to keep the bugs out. No bugs bothered me at all. In Texas you’d have thousands of mosquitoes, and flying insects but here, none. The singing of the tree frogs in the forest put me to sleep and I slept better than I have in at least a year. “I loved the place! It could have been a bit cleaner, but over all I loved the stay. No a.c. which was fine for me. The nights were nice enough to not sweat at all, and it was the end of Aug. My friend really didn't care for it. So, if you need more than some of the most beautiful nature and scenery and basic necessities, it probably isn't for you. And the cats.... They are everywhere on the island, but extra cuddly here.”
