A very nice hotel and location. A bit dated especially in the bathrooms. The towels need to be replaced. Threadbare. Our room had fruit flies. So annoying!!! The shower needs repair. Had to do a lot of manipulating to get warm water. The maids came every day and made the beds and gave clean towels, etc. That was much appreciated. Hence the 4 stars instead of 3.

It took 1hr to check in. The room was outdated. Not enough staff. It took 30min to get a coffee in their cafe. The location is very good if you want to be on Time Square

The room itself was clean and nice enough, but the bathroom wasn’t clean when we first got there. The tub had large pieces of enamel missing and no stopper, so the tub was useless. The room’s air conditioning thermostat didn’t work so it was either freezing when on or you burned up with it off.

There is no hotel parking. There is a lot attached to the hotel run by a private company and its $102 US per night. Don't being your car. New York city has done a poor job in downtown traffic flow. The hotel itself is nice for the price !

The staff was fantastic and one of the best parts of the hotel. It is hard to beat the location as you are right in Times Square, and lots of things are within walking distance or a quick ride on the Subway. The primary downfalls are that it is older, thus, things such as bath tub have paint chipped in several places in the tub itself. The water in the shower is a bit finicky, and it can get very hot or suddenly turn cold (this happened to myself, my wife, and my son). The lobby is fairly small, and there is not much room to sit and wait, do some work, have a cup of coffee, etc. My suggestion is there is a place that they rent out by the escalator. They should open this up during the day and make it a larger lobby. It has a great view of Times Square. They could also expand seating areas to the floor above which has an escalator going up to it. It was usually roped off, thus, I did not see that area. Nevertheless, overall I think the hotel was a great value and definitely worth revisiting again. I highly recommend it if you are OK with a bit older looking hotel with a small lobby. By the way, if there is a long line for coffee, there is a great little place just outside of the hotel called Masseria Cafe and Bakery with usually no line

I have never been so impressed by a hotel However I will highly recommend this one for anyone’s stay! You are literally right on Times Square Madison boulevard You are sounded by everything From Food to shopping and entertainment The room was quite nice and large and clean! And I definitely be booking and visiting New York again with this hotel!

The hotel was vastly different than the images on Expedia. The room was very dated and dirty. Phone, shower and safe did not work. Maintenance had to come to the room 2 times during the stay to fix things. Sheets and towels had blood spots. Blood also present on the wall near the toilet and bathroom light switch. Shower was in poor condition and had hair on the ceiling. Bed headboards were very worn and mattresses very loud with the slightest movement. Pictures of each taken.
