“We stayed at Mark and Nancy's cottage on our way to and from visiting family. On our way home we arrived the day after a huge snow storm. Mark shoveled a foot and half of snow for us to have a spot to park and to have a clear path to the cottage. That is going above and beyond! Great hosts! ”

“Dan & I enjoyed the cozy home reading & playing games in front of the fireplace. The TV room with reclining sofa was perfect for watching the Super Bowl. We slept well every night in comfortable beds and ate out at several places we don’t have at home. We would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.”

“The house was well described in the listing and decorated nicely for the holidays. We were hoping a curtain and tension rod could cover the third bedroom off of the kitchen, but the opening is too big for that to occur. Our only suggestions would be having some kind of curtains or other divider to give the third bedroom some privacy as well as some storage for clothes (dresser or shelving); we were there for a week so living out of our bags got a little old. “We live on both ends of the country so after Christmas we met in the middle to connect and enjoy time together. A perfect home in a beautiful Scandinavian village. We have many memories of visiting with family but this VRBO home was by far the finest we have ever enjoyed... ANYWHERE. We will be back!”

“This is a very nice place for the casual stay or in my case the business traveler. My only concern is the fact there are no window coverings. It was rather odd , it felt a bit like being in a fish bowl especially after dark. ”

“Our multi-generation , multi-state family recently gathered and stayed at clean and comfortable The House of Blues. Host, Nichole, was welcoming and responsive. The three levels worked well to give the different family units their own space. The younger generations particularly enjoyed the lower level which included comfy TV viewing seating, a sports table, games, and counter/frig for snacks and drinks.
