“An awesome apartment space. Great comfy home away from home in an amazing neighbourhood. Beautiful grounds…spring almost ready to bloom . Very friendly and welcoming host. “Check in and checkout was a breeze. Eric was highly responsive and very generous letting us borrow the paddle boards for a little trip out to the island with the seals in front of the property. This is a great central location, close to airport and many other attractions that the island has to offer. Last but not least, the sunrise view over the ocean is absolutely breathtaking!”

“This cottage is walkable into Ganges and provides a good base for exploring Salt Spring Island. The kind provision of eggs, homemade jam and the excellent bread were very welcome. Thank you. Francis Bread and a few other local deli type shops are just up the main road and are excellent. Lovely hosts that chatted when we saw them.”

“This was a fantastic spot in the lovely Shawnigan Village. Quiet and peaceful for when you want to take it easy; but driveablw distances to nearby attractions like Butchart Gardens. Highly recommend! ”

“Overall the unit is clean and well stocked and the location of the property was nice. Checkin/ checkout process was easy and communication from the property manager was good. Unit is small but well laid out and suitable for two or three guests. The outdoor amenities were not as advertised which was a disappointment given that this was a main reason for selecting this unit.”

“Loved how warm and clean everything was. Joyce has it very well stocked and you can tell she has thought of everything. From perfect umbrellas, super fast and strong wifi, lots of pillows and even an old Electrolux vacuum that works well and brought back a lot of memories. The two room fireplace was a hit and the subtle Christmas decorations made for the perfect holiday celebration. ”

“We were a group of 9 cycling girlfriends from Victoria and this house was better than we expected. Having 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect and the living/kitchen space accommodated all of us hanging out together. We never used the 2nd floor TV area (which was large) or the lower living area (also large), but spent all our time either out hiking or enjoying the views from every area of the house. Two dishwashers and sinks meant cleanup was simple. Fantastic 3 nights. ”

“The house has beautiful views from the deck, living room, dining area and bedrooms. We stayed in March for a week, enjoying the large wood stove on the cold wet days and explored most of the hikes when it was warm. ”
