“My group of 5 only stayed one night as we were in the middle of a motorcycle tour of Northern California. We were so happy when we arrived to a have such a nice spot to hang out. Plenty of space and everything was really clean. We were able to walk to the brewery as well as the Surf point coffee house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay.”

“This quaint, cozy home was exactly what my family was looking for as a holiday hideout on the coast! We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. “We have stayed at this rental a few times and will likely come again. The deck is deck is amazing! We could spend the whole trip out there watching the ocean and the planes flying in and out. Sofa is a little small and very low to the ground. Maybe not idea for more than 2 people or travelers with weak knees.Coffee shops, brewery, golf course and airstrip 'in town' are easily walkable, but the return trip is uphill.”

There is a small grocery store nearby which can give you all the basics. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. “We were only here for one night and the weather was too chilly to take a dip in the pool. Parking was close to the guest house/pool. Nicely decorated but it’s small. Fortunately lots of outdoor space! Bed was very comfortable. Nice towels and many toiletries provided. Perfect location if you are looking to tour the Redwoods. Two things that kept me from giving 5 star rating were: there was old coffee(how old?) in the pot and the refrigerator is located outside of the unit and it wasn’t clean.”
