“The place is super cute and loved it in the middle of the woods. Brought a few of my employees and their families for a much needed weekend away. Bonding time. The kids used the hot tub to hang out. Only thing that is does need is more outdoor lighting when coming in. ”

“My husband and I needed a place to stay near family for Christmas, along with our (adult) niece and nephew, and our dog. Clark's house had plenty of room for all of us! We so appreciated the warm welcome we found when we arrived: bacon, eggs and bread for breakfast, and a local liquor to unwind after the drive! There was even a cute Christmas tree to get us in the holiday mood. Thank you, Clark! We will definitely be back! ”

“This cabin was just as advertised, and perfect for our family. We were looking for some winter isolation, and found it at the Outpost. The fireplace was great, the arrangement was perfect for family games in front of the fire or at the table, the kitchen had what we needed, and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had, and we enjoyed saying hello to their two very friendly dogs who stopped by. We would stay there again, summer or winter.”

“The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars.”

“We really loved this property - so homelike and cozy. Very clean, and beautiful property with view. We went skiing at Seven Springs which was 25-30 min from the house. Would love to stay in Fall and Summer, lots to do in the area.”

“Four couples getaway. Cooked meals. Played games. Went for hiking and sightseeing especially to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Also visited the winerydistillery nearby. Location was superb. The owners of Kalli-Ru thought of every detail. Great for all ages -there are games, air hockey table, long bar table, many sofas, fireplaces, big yard, grill, fire pit, hot tub, etc. And big kitchen for gatherings and prepping meals. The place is also wheelchair accessible -that was a detail I noticed and……
