“Loved this house! If you are looking to be within walking distance of San Antonio this is not the place. It’s about a 10-20 mins drive to downtown depending on traffic. It worked perfect for us as we were with 3 other families and needed a place to stay for a cheer competition The backyard is beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting outside visiting. “Very unique building. Loved the interior! The area is a little sketchy though and the building on google maps is not up to date, so it looks abandoned if you look it up on maps. Overall good stay, but the area and exterior knocked it to 4 stars for me. The host was very communicative and the check in process was easy. Plenty of room for my family and friends! “Texas was hit with unprecedented cold weather during our stay and the owners had an HVAC technician on the way before we could even call to ask about cooler temps inside. And it wasn't the owner's fault because even the large hotel rooms that our colleague's were staying in were not warm. These owners even had space heaters instacarted to the house after they discovered their HVAC systems was fine. They jumped through hoops to make sure we were comfortable!”
