“We had a wonderful time at the house. Its location was very central to get to Whitby town, Scarborough and York. The house was clean, tidy and well equiped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Came to Harrogate for a few days and this place was perfect. Has everything you need. It’s clean and the host was very very helpful with great communication. Location is easy to get into Harrogate and even in the snow storm I could walk into the centre as the buses were suspended. There’s a shop at the end of the road and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Can highly recommended.”

“Stayed at Apple Tree Corner in Harrogate and we arrived late to a spotlessly clean house that was tastefully furnished with all the amenities we needed. Location is ideal, a 15 mins stroll into the centre of Harrogate. Nice quiet and very private location. Loved that the car was safe and it had FREE parking (had to pay everywhere else in Harrogate). The host had some brilliant suggestions in the guest book so we tried Brimhan rocks and Betty’s Tea Room which are highly recommended. Would love to……

“Exciting weekend in Staithes, walking along the coastal path / exploring the village / eateries”

“We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. The next day my husband did manage to fix the heating only to find out the pool wasn’t heated much to the kids disappointment. The……

“Beautiful place, and location”

“This was just perfect! The house was well stocked including the kitchen and the location could not have been better. It was so lovely just to walk through the church yard to the pub for dinner. I would highly recommend and we will def. be back!!”

“Mill Beck has lovely character is the perfect place to stay for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Thornton Rust is very peaceful.”

“Great location, immaculate in every area, warm and comfortable. Jut one slight negative there isn’t a toilet on the second floor. ”

“This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. ”

“We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund.”
