The pool was larger than expected, it could have been warmer though, The Beach was right there with free chair service. The free breakfast was good enough, but didn't know about custom orders until our last day. The onsite restaurant was very good for dinner.

Property is authentic, room was big however the bathroom was very small. The room had a smell of bug spray & had to go to the front desk over 20 times to re swap the elevator /room keys other than that the property is fine and location is really good & staff is nice & friendly.

Smaller hotel, interesting decor, large swimming pool. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful ocean view . Furniture worned out, carpet in room drab and not very clean. Disapointed that room did not have balcony. Carpet in north tower hallway is badly worn out. Doors are a liability, very old and heavy, especially at the entrances to the hotel. Cash not accepted at reception for resort fee, despite having asked twice via message and told yes.

Staying at a beachfront property was nice, but it was very rundown. The pool was ice cold. We went to the ocean because it was warmer. Our keys deactivated the first night and we had to get new ones. Vending machines didn’t work. The continental breakfast did not include eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. only bagels, toast and cereal. Everything else was extra money. We did not have a trash can in our room, and had to ask multiple times for a remote control which we never ended up getting. They kept saying “tomorrow.” There was an instance where 7 cop cars were outside and there was a fight inside. Most of the staff were very nice, but some did not care.

no parking, nightmare if you are travelling with a car or rental. rooms are dirty, outdated and phones don’t work. wifi is weak on the upper levels where you may not get any service at all. Hotel is giving more of a motel vibe. The place has a very distinct smell. Kind of mildewy masked by room spray. Had to switch our room key multiple times because they would stop working. Breakfast could be a lot better. They only offered sliced bread, bagels, salami and cheese. Pool was nice and so was the easy beach access. There is no parking on site btw. I had to pay $40 a night at a nearby parking lot. There are a lot of cute shops and food spots at walking distance of hotel so that was also nice. You definitely get what you pay for. Overall the workers were super nice and if you’re looking for somewhere pocket friendly, it’s honestly not bad at all.

Just left after 5 nights The hotel is a tad dated but they are working on it and they have employees constantly cleaning , employees always working on the outside.. keeping pool clean and well maintained The hotel is not far from airport Nice boardwalk between hotel and beach The beach guy hustles to get the lounge chairs snd umbrellas up and moves things around and cleans up as people leave for the day Breakfast is ok Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bananas, oranges , snack bars .. assortment of bread and bagels Coffee and orange juice Lots of nice restaurants and coffee places on Collins Avenue to choose from We had a great time there and would go back for sure

We loved our oceanfront balcony view at the Sherry. Gorgeous! Our room was very clean. Coffee was good but the breakfast was otherwise not great but there are a lot of options nearby. We loved the Mexi grill for quick and affordable breakfast options. We were always able to find a spot by the pool but less likely to get chairs with an umbrella on the beach unless you’re down by 9am to secure a spot. The pool chairs were really nice but the beach ones could use some updating. We would definitely stay here again due to the view and cleanliness of our room alone, great place on the beach with a nice pool and we loved the location.

My stay here was rather good a peaceful. My biggest issue is it’s hard to get in contact with housekeeping. But other than that my stay was great. It’s obvious an old hotel so It has it’s minor issues but nothing you can’t look over. My room was clean with a beautiful view that’s all I cared about. BUT the breakfast could’ve been better. We were told via email the hotel had parking available for $10 for guests. When we arrived we were told there was no longer parking. Had to drive around for 45 minutes and also ask nearby hotels and finally parking 15 minutes walk away. Our friends had a reservation too same night and they were told no rooms were left. Their names and reservation were right on the hotel’s computer screen AND our friends had already paid! but they had overbooked. With no other hotels within a 30 minute radius with availability. Was a terrible situation. Hotel also needs an update. Won’t visit again.
