“Fun and interesting decor. Access road is rough, but easily doable. Beds were very cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is small, but has more than you'll need in the way of condiments and spices. Very nice cabin, especially when the weather is stormy.”

“This was the perfect place to stay for our family. Our kids wanted to see some redwoods for their birthday trip. Their birthdays are only 5 days apart. We found this place and it was such a great location. A short walk to the market and a pizza place for the kids and the Lighthouse Grill was a great place to eat. It’s only a short 5 minute drive to the pier, to see the ocean and have a nice breakfast at the restaurant on the pier. You can look at the ocean and eat breakfast at the same time. The……

“Just a wonderful, remote place to stay off the beaten path, although easily accessible to/from Eureka and Arcata. Thank you, as always!”

“We enjoyed our stay but had to cut it short for personal reasons. We appreciated the personal touches provided by the owner, but would have liked more specific directions to get to the house, which was off the street in an alley with only a mailbox across the street to identify the house number. Very quiet neighborhood behind an elementary school, would stay there again.”

“My family of four had a very nice stay in Trinidad. The property manager reached out the day before our stay to inform us we could check in early. The home was clean and had lots of space for everyone. While we had a few issues, the property manager was highly responsive. Two little things that could be fixed to create an even better experience: the dishwasher door is incredibly loud/creaky and weatherstripping is needed at the base of the main door as there is a small gap that ended up letting……

“We loved the stay at Raven House. Trinidad was a fabulous location for exploring redwood natl park, eureka, arkata, etc. the place was cozy and comfortable. We loved having the washer and dryer for laundry as it was pretty rainy and muddy on the trails. They worked moderately well and it was a little quirky they were outside on a covered area. Bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was small but terrific and we had beautiful clear star views the last night. The wooden stair however needs to get……

“Lovely large home with a well appointed kitchen; hot tub and sauna, views of forests and literally 5-10 minute drives to giant Redwoods and hiking trails galore. ”

“It's a large home with bedrooms, games, stairwells, and even a suite in a stand-alone building all over the place. The driveway is tight and rough. But it does lead to a small trail and a private beach. My big complaint would be the upstairs shower. Ick. The town is small and interesting. It is a great place to be to see the most of the multiple redwood parks.”
