“Given the location of our room I feel that a floor plan should be shown on the website as our room overlooked the car park and was directly over main entrance and reception and if I’d known I would have chosen a different room. The room itself was clean and presentable although a bedside clock would have been useful. On a personal basis we found the quilt on the bed too heavy and the bed itself a little on the soft side. “Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. Breakfast was ordered and freshly served in the main dining hall. You could tell the produce was fresh and locally sourced. Very appetising. In all a very……
