“We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs over the New Year's holiday. Jeanne and Leo were great hosts and were friendly and welcoming. Their property has a great location and everything we needed--it was just about perfect for us (absolutely the ONLY thing that was missing was a fenced in yard for the dogs), but they had plenty of room to run around and the property was well back from the street, so it wasn't an issue. “EVERYTHING About the ranch was awesome!The location close to Solvang.The apartment was clean, plenty of space, fully equipped, and completely comfortable.The ranch, especially the horses next-door, made it very enjoyable and a unique experience.I highly recommend it to everyone!!!”

“This is an absolutely beautiful place to spend time away from the city noise. A complete HEAVEN!One thing that has never been mentioned in the entire description was the Camino Road with about 5 High Speed Bumps that our vehicle hit pretty hard at the first bump. They are not marketed or visible, so be careful driving to the actual property. Other than that, this is NOT a 1 bedroom place. “This is the best short term rental that we have stayed in yet! Very relaxing Santa Ynez ranch location, quiet and peaceful! The hosts were wonderful to work with and attentive to our stay. Enjoyed watching the local farmers tend the vineyards right outside the doors of "The Cottage", watching the ducks swim around the pond, and friendly greetings from the owners dogs. The place was exceptionally clean and the furnishings comfortable. Perfect getaway place from the hustle and bustle of the city.”

“Fully stocked everything, as much coffee as you want. Beautiful coverd patio to sit under with lot's of propaine heaters and fire pits. It rained a little while we were there and we still had fun sitting outside under the covered patio. Lots of cosy blankets. The house was nice and clean, the patio needed a little attention. It looks like they are installing a new hot tub right next to the guest house. My granddaughter loved petting the horses on the property. Definetly would recomend this to……

“The Magnolia House was so cute, comfortable, cozy and I love the architecture and decor. Great location. Walking distance to everything in Solvang. I would recommend staying here and I would love to stay here again.”

“Wonderful host! Loved to talk with her about the farm and animals. Loved the turkey the most but also liked the goats and wedding dress geese. Host greeted us with freshly baked bread, homemade jelly and wine, and fresh eggs from her chickens. Some days we fed the chickens and some days not, but every day we interacted with the animals in some way. Enjoyed the small towns nearby, especially Los Olivos. Had a great lunch there and enjoyed olive oil tasting (and buying!). Would love to go back,……

It's so wonderful to return to a place that feels like home, with thoughtful hosts like Shawnda and Sam making it extra special. They really do go above and beyond to make their guest feel special.
