“The room is good value, clean and comfortable - overall good place but a few teething problems could be improved on. Shower needs a label to show how to work due to secret stop button. The door to room wouldn't close fully by itself which is a bit of a security concern; also the wifi network for room is joined via TV (not immediately clear), otherwise an open network across the whole centre. The room was so cosy I slept with the window open all night (in March) and was still warm. The cafe bar……

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”

“Very nice guesthouse with super friendly owners and staff. Our room was comfy, clean and had a wonderful view over Loch Linnhe. Breakfast was very good. We also enjoyed the little hotel bar very much. Only short 5 min walk into town centre. Would definitely book again!”

“The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!”

“Had a wonderful 4 night stay in Corrie Lodge, Loch Linnhe Lochside Holidays, on the shores of Loch Eil in March. Surprisingly 2 days were stunning with beautiful sunshine. The views from the lodge over the loch were amazing. The lodge was clean and comfortable with 4 ring cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher etc Fantastic walks nearby and Fort William is only a 15 minutes drive. We loved our stay - thank you. ”

“We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. Good breakfast.”
