“Clean, but a bit old”

“Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. Had an issue with a key for one of the doors and someone came within 10mins to help me (outside business hours). Only thing is that the water is heated with solar panels and during a 5min shower the……

“Bin sehr spät mit dem Flugzeug in Faro angekommen und hatte wohl das Glück, dass mir das Zimmer freigehalten wurde, da laut Rezeption die Zimmer wieder vergeben werden, wenn man nicht innerhalb der angegebenen Eincheck-Zeit beim Hotel eintrifft. Hatte die Flugdaten rechtzeitig mitgeteilt. Kommunikation mit Hotel war auch im Vorfeld sehr seltsam. Sie teilten mir WhatsApp-Adresse mit, darauf reagierte jedoch niemand.”

“Great location, bit of a walk but very much worth it. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. Property was a little tired in places but it just added to its rustic charm. Would recommend and defo visit again x”
