A beautiful, historic property just a short walk from Rialto bridge. Loved that the room maintained the history and grandeur and that the bathroom was updated / renovated and modern!
Our daughter injured our ankle and was on crutches, and they assisted us with renting a wheel chair at a local pharmacy and even offered to return it for us.
They also helped us find the walking routes with the least bridges, and with arranging a private transfer to the airport.
Property is beautiful and historic (Marco Polo's family's home) and we will definitely return!
Location is amazing, view of the canal is beautiful. Room was comfortable. We didn’t like that you couldn’t control the AC, it was living it’s own life adjusting temperature on its own. staff in on the site only in the morning, there were smell of the cigarettes in the room, when we arrived, we had to open windows and a lot of mosquitos get in. There was not enough paper and no feminine products available in the room or anywhere in the hotel.
Lovely and clean hotel room. Close by and walkable distance to all the sightseeing monuments in Venice.

The hotel and room are okay. Central location and the AC was refreshing after a long hot day.
I would strongly recommend reading the hotels responses to reviews, very rude and condescending. Calling guests ignorant and many other insults. I did not experience this myself as I didn’t interact with staff other than asking for extra towels, but I was appalled.
Stunning boutique hotel on canal with beautiful, charming decor like from a royal movie! Very comfortable and in great location. Google maps needs better location directions. Would stay there again!
This was the best stay of our European trip. Beds as numbered (we had the big room as there were five of us) and the coolest a/c of our trip. Comfort and hot water and small things that made a difference
We stayed in the delux room with canal view which was lovely. Hotel was very quiet and quite small, we didn’t see anyone else during our 2 day stay, although we did leave early both mornings. It was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the Rialto bridge water bus stop. Breakfast started at 9am so was too late for our early starts, but local coffee shops/ bakeries are easy to find. Would stay here again.
The room is amazing & clean. Very walkable to shops and restaurant and to the water bis station. Very historical place with a modern bathroom! 100% recommended.
The location of this place was unbeatable! We had the canal view and we could sit in our window and watch the gondolas go right by the window.
This hotel was also apparently owned by the family of Marco Polo which was pretty cool as well.
Location couldn’t have been better. It was on a quiet alley/courtyard but was close enough to get to everything in Venice that we wanted to see with a short walk.

Staying at Ca' Amadi was one of the highlights from our trip across northern Italy. It is tucked away in a quiet, private courtyard, which made sleeping and relaxing very easy. It's only a few steps away from a very busy stretch of shops, restaurants, cafes, and churches though, so we didn't have to travel far to enjoy Venice's nightlife or shopping. The room itself felt Venetian- beautiful glass light fixtures, tiled floors, large windows, etc. It was nice to feel like we were staying at a friends' house, and not a traditional hotel for the week. We'd love to come back again sometime.
Our stay at Ca’ Amadi in Venice was a mixed experience. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was excellent—spacious, spotless, & well maintained, the air conditioning was great; and it has a good location. This is why I am giving the hotel 3 stars rather than a lower rating. Unfortunately, there were several things that disappointed us. The entrance to the hotel was through the back of a shared/ common patio area, which honestly looked sketchy when we first arrived. We did not see this entrance represented in the description or photos when we booked. The room we received also looked nothing like the room pictured when we made our reservation, which was disappointing. In addition, the room had a noticeable cigarette smell, despite being very clean. We also had issues with some of the basic conveniences. The iron did not work, and several of the electrical outlets were not working (we had the correct adapters), which was frustrating during our stay. The host was responsive whenever we had questions. However, we did not find the hospitality particularly welcoming. We were never greeted with cordiality & we were not given any orientation or information on whether there were any amenities available to guests. Overall, the cleanliness and the spacious bathroom were definite a plus, but the experience did not match what we expected based on the listing and photos.

The hotel is a short walk from the Rialto bridge/vaporetto stop, making it a lovely spot for exploring the lagoon. While we liked the room, we had a problem with the hot water. We didn’t end up using the kitchen in the flat but there were plenty of pots and utensils. We would come back here for a longer stay in Venice.
The room was clean and comfortable. There is no staff at night, which is fine, but they left a letter for us stating breakfast went until 10:30, but when we arrived at 10, they said breakfast is over at 10, and checkout is at 10 too! Checkout time is not posted anywhere and I couldn’t even find it on google so that was an unpleasant surprise!
Greeted by the lovely receptionist. Room was as expected- clean and comfortable! Location was great. Close to all the sights, restaurants and walking distance to many transport options.
This is a great location near food and POI. Safe, and a great place to stay. Please not they don’t speak English and no elevator if you need that. I was a second floor room.
The room I had was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the canal. The room was clean and well maintained. Staff was incredibly responsive and helpful with local advice and suggestions.
The room was quiet, clean and well located.
The front desk staff were helpful.
The room was done in dark fabric, the walls, the windows, the headboard. It was a bit overwhelming.
The room was small and lacked adequate surface area for our things.
