Couldn't close the door to the balconies from outside and there are lots of racoons that would come by the try to get in, which limited our time we could spend outside without having to constantly watch our door. Right when we got to our room there were dishes sitting on the stairs, they were there for three days before anyone picked them up. Staff was friendly. It was nice being away from technology!

The hotel is about 70% closed. Many of the amenities are unusable. The hotel it self is amazing! Not sure how much longer they will be in business, probably 60% of the place in Tulum have closed their doors. Really sad to see. But if you have a chance to stay here, take the risk! We stayed in room 37 and it was amazing short of the no WiFi or cell service. Room was big roomy, and even though I read reviews of no ac or hot water, that was not the case in our stay. 37 shares a pool of that level and views were amazing!!

Come here for the amazing views, incredible architecture, and if you want to spend a lot of money. I was disappointed that there was no wifi in my room and that there is no privacy when showering. I could tell my neighbors were annoyed that they could see me butt naked in the shower. The food was delicious, and service was excellent, especially Keith at Kin Toh. their website boasts 8 restaurants but only two were open, and a clothing boutique that was closed. the room itself was lovely, but the robes provided were covered in stains (one in particular with a giant orange stain on the front that they had folded to cover that part up) and so were the bed sheets. I also had to purchase more water as they only provided 3 small bottles. And the room was unbearably hot even though it seemed air tight. I can’t lie, i was relieved when i got to the next hotel and it had far superior amenities for less than half the price.

Property had his glamorous days. The poor condition outside, very dirty, water for bathing was the worst. Water smells really bad, also there was couple morning that was very hard to breathe the outside smells. Staff was great, couldn't be happier with them. Overall it need to be addressed alot to be considered a great place to visit.

We booked a sea villa for 1 night. The view from the terrace and the hotel vibe is amazing. I know before that there is no lights but its not that much dim. Bed is comfortable. The only thing i probably cant take more than one night is the water is from sea so its a little bit salty and sticky on your skin after shower. And the hotel food is a little bit overpriced. Breakfast not included. Otherwise everything else is amazing.

Wonderful stay for 5 days and 4 nights. Certainly one of the most unique hotel experiences I’ve had. The rooftop experience was clearly the place to be for sunset in Tulum. The restaurant prices were a little high but the dining was world class. Staff was accommodating and friendly. I particularly enjoyed talking wine pairings with Carlos, the sommelier. My concierge, Melanie, was responsive and helped plan day trips during my stay to make the most out of my time in Tulum. I can highly recommend staying here.

The property is very unique and has a special vibe to it. The staff is extremely helpful, accommodating and all seem to have a cheerful spirit that makes staying there a treat. The two nights I spent there were two of the most relaxing and rejuvenating sleeps I’ve had. The beds are very comfortable and you can faintly heat the sounds of the ocean while you sleep making it almost therapeutic.

Great resort, but don’t expect to take a shower while you’re there. Amazingly beautiful resort full of wildlife nested among the trees, but was surprised to find out they don’t have showers in the rooms. Showers consisted of pouring water over your head with a coconut. Not kidding.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience for us. Of course, there were a few challenges along the way, but we came here fully aware of what to expect, so nothing really caught us by surprise. What impressed me most was the effort the resort has made for its guests, it almost feels as if they built the hotel right on top of the ocean. Because of that, I find it a bit unfair to focus too much on minor inconveniences. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and eager to help whenever needed. My room was always kept clean and well maintained. The air conditioning could have been a little stronger, but honestly, once you open the door and let the ocean breeze drift into the room, you find yourself falling asleep to the sound and scent of the sea. At that point, the air conditioning becomes the last thing on your mind. We left with beautiful memories and a genuine appreciation for the experience. Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay enjoyable.

We were rebooked to Azulik after our hotel cancelled our reservation. The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful! Big shout out to Liz, Vincente, Mario, Eric, Luis and Ceclio! Great client service! The included breakfast was wonderful as well as the sunset party with great music and great vibes. We completely agree with the concept of nature being in balace and sustainability, but it seems like the property has not been maintained for quite a while. There is no wifi in the rooms so no way of asking for anything you need or ordering room service. You need to walk back to the "lobby" which requires you to walk a path of uneven logs whenever you enter or leave the property. The first room we had the airconditioner didn't work too well due to the aesthetic covering they had on it. The doors have large gaps in them which allows insects to come in. We had everything on our sink flooded from the room above us and seeing the stains on the ceiling this had been going on for a while. The faucet on the sink had a rubber tube coming out and would flood everything when turned on. After a storm had our luggage soaked we asked to move to a different room which was much better. The new room had a showerhead made of pottery and it would splash all over the room. Also there is no privacy at all with no blinds that close or curtains. We hung some sarongs and blankets on the windows. It seems like the artistic features are more important than functionality. Great staff but updates needed.
