SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL
4.0 star property

"Overall clean property, nice parking garage, nice view from the spa. I was looking forward to the onsen. However there were so many Chinese guests that were very loud and not following Japanese tradition and onsen guidelines (coming into the changing area dripping wet, bringing big towels to the bath, yelling, etc). It was NOT relaxing at all and we didn't even go back to the bath the following day. Sad, but we will not return if the guests are allowed to destroy the peaceful environment. ...

"I only had two transactions with the staff in the 5 days I was. Checkin & out. Room was very clean. Comfy bed & pillows. I would recommend this hotel. The only downside, there were many restaurants ajoining it, with loads of people coming & going. But once in the lift to your room it was very quiet. Bang in the centre of the Susukino area. Restaurants & bars just a 50 meter walk away. Susukino is the 'happening' area of Sapporo. "

Convenient location to trains/subway, and some tourist attractions. Walkable to Tanukikoji and Susukino. Cleaning services limited to towels and trash removal. Other services/rentals cost $.
